Amazon's free streaming service is now available in the UK.
Earlier this year, Amazon launched IMDb TV in the UK – a new streaming platform that's available free of charge for those with Fire TV.
While the streaming service has been available in the US for the past three years, it finally managed to cross the pond last month, bringing with it a host of original content.
Amazon announced earlier today that 15 live linear channels had been added to IMDb TV for viewers in the UK, including channels dedicated to shows like Are We There Yet, Bridezillas and Hell's Kitchen as well as channels for true crime lovers, nature enthusiasts and those who are movie mad.
Viewers in the UK can now access the streamer via the Amazon Prime Video app on Fire TV – read on for everything you need to know about IMDb TV and how to access it in the UK.
How to watch IMDb TV in the UK
Amazon's free premium streaming service IMDb TV is now available in the UK, with both Prime and non-Prime customers able to access the platform's original content.
To find IMDb TV, go to the Prime Video app and click on the 'IMDb TV – Popular Movies and TV - free with ads' carousel.
In the next few weeks, a standalone app for IMDb TV will become available for those with Fire TV.

What is IMDb TV?
IMDb TV is a free streaming service from the entertainment industry database IMDb which is available via Amazon Prime Video.
The platform is ad-supported and so both Prime members and nonmembers will have access to all IMDb TV content.
Viewers in the UK can now watch a number of IMDb TV originals, including:
- Luke Bryan: My Dirt Road Diary – a documentary following country music star Luke Bryan
- Moment of Truth – a docuseries about the murder of NBA legend Michael Jordan's father James Jordan
- Top Class: The Life and Times of the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers – a docuseries produced by LeBron James about the back-to-back state champions the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers
- Judy Justice – a courtroom reality series starring Judge Judy
- Leverage: Redemption – an American crime drama about reformed criminal vigilantes
The service also features a number of classic films and TV shows, from Community and Pulp Fiction, to Hell's Kitchen and Meet the Parents.
In November 2021, Amazon announced that 15 new linear channels had been added to the service, which include:
- Are We There Yet? – A comedy series following divorced mother Suzanne and her new husband Nick as they try to live with their blended family starring Terry Crews.
- Bridezillas – A reality TV series following women as they prepare for their wedding day.
- Deadly Women – A true-crime series taking viewer into the minds of the world's most dangerous women.
- Docustream – A channel for award-winning documentaries and TV programming exploring the beauty of our planet.
- FilmRise Free Movies – FilmRise's selection of free blockbusters
- FilmRise Free Series – FilmRise's channel of TV series from across a range of genres, from Hunter and Highway to Heaven, to Mutant X.
- Hell's Kitchen – Gordon Ramsay's reality cooking competition.
- MovieSphere – From blockbusters to cult classics, the MovieSphere channel features a range of free films.
- MythBusters – The Discovery Channel show which uncovers the truth behind urban legends.
- Tastemade – A 24 hour channel featuring award-winning food, travel, home and design content.
- The Design Network – A channel for all things home in streaming.
- This Old House – A streaming channel featuring shows such as This Old House and ASk This Old House, hosted by Kevin O'Connor.
- True Crime Now – a channel which boasts over 1,000 true-crime documentary films and series.
- Unsolved Mysteries – Early series of Unsolved Mysteries hosted by Robert Stack.
